The golden rule

The Adobe suite is now the standard for creating and updating technical documentation. For years Editha has been dealing with the layout of documentation on Indesign, Illustrator, Frame Maker, LiveCycle designer formats.

We don’t just “clean up” the translated pages, we help our clients prepare their files for translation by optimising them for CAT tools and assist them in managing complex projects and multilingual documents.

Advanced Management

We chose to specialise and become advanced developers of MadCap Flare, the CMS software for authoring for advanced management of multilingual technical content that allows publication in different formats (PDF, WebHelp, EPUB, HTML5).

From simple use sheets to more detailed and complex manuals, we try not to leave anything to the user’s personal interpretation. Our experience in post-translation and text editing means that we know how to advise you in restructuring your content, in your layouts and in the choice of the most suitable output media for your document.

We have created a specific workflow for migrating old format documentation to MadCap Flare, supporting our customers from the initial analysis phase through to the finished DTP language product.

The era of E-learning

If your courses need translation, we can follow you in all phases of the process: we extract the texts to be translated, optimise them for CAT tools, and produce a Word or XLF / XML document. We isolate the images to be localised, and the video and audio content to reinforce analytical structure.

After the translation, we return the finished courses to you, testing the full functionality of the Articulate 360 file.
